About this campaign
When RC was in the 1st grade he had an issue with a student that was bullying him and several members of the class. When we sat down with him to problem solve his situation, he expressed that what he wanted to do was teach his classmates about kindness. We started making shirts for his teachers and friends about "Kind is the new Cool". Eventually the t-shirts became so popular that we created a fundraiser.
RC spends a lot of time at the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, TX and is very passionate about this zoo and the animals there. He regularly attends their Zoo camps and educational experiences. He is especially excited that the citizens of Waco recently voted to add a penguin habitat to the zoo.
In 2020 RC was able to raise $140 for the Cameron Park Zoo. We would like to break $200 this year.
