Summer Missions at the BSM- Maggie and Madison

Maggie: Through GoNow Missions, I will be serving in Bangkok, Thailand from mid-June to mid-August on mission for Christ. Specifically, I will be working with at-risk boys and former sex workers, seeking freedom from their former lives; this will look like group and individual recovery counseling, teaching job skills, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and venturing into the red-light districts of Bangkok to invite others to leave the sex industry with the hope of redemption. I will be partnering with another student, as well as an established organization called Dton Naam which my partner and I will serve under. I am raising about $3,000 for this mission trip, and would appreciate any generosity offered, whether in prayer or financial support. Please consider partnering with me to bring the light of Christ to the Thai people!

Madison: This summer I have the opportunity to spend approximately 2 months in Provo, Utah working with a local church there to reach out to people in the Latter-day Saint community. We the have opportunity to host seeker-friendly events so that people can learn more about what we believe, and also work with college students at the Utah Valley University campus and with students around Provo itself. I spent a week in this area last year and God really stirred my heart for this large demographic that is largely unreached by the Gospel, and I’m very excited to see how God might use this longer period of time to shape my future focus and plans. For this trip I need to raise a total of $1500 which will cover everything I need for the time I’m there, so please consider partnering with me in what God is doing in Utah!
