About Us
Founded in 1987, RedRover focuses on bringing animals from crisis to care through a variety of programs, including animal sheltering and disaster relief services, financial assistance for urgent veterinary care, pet housing programs for domestic violence survivors, and humane education. RedRover’s mission is to bring animals out of crisis and strengthen the bond between people and animals through emergency sheltering, disaster-relief services, financial assistance, and education.

The RedRover Relief program provides veterinary care financial assistance, resources, training, and support to individuals and organizations. The RedRover Responders program provides emergency sheltering, training, and consultations for animals displaced by natural disasters and communities facing other crisis. The RedRover Readers program and Kind News™ magazine provides educators with the tools they need to teach children empathy skills.
