About this campaign

Austin Metcalf, a 17-year-old student from Memorial High School, was fatally stabbed on April 2, 2025, during a track meet in Frisco, Texas, after an altercation. Despite immediate medical efforts, he passed away at the hospital. His twin brother, Hunter, was present and tried to save him. Metcalf was a standout student-athlete with a 4.0 GPA and aspirations to play college football. (ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE FAMILY)

You could use many words to describe Austin, he was a good man, friend, leader, brother, teammate, boyfriend and human. The way he connected with others and brought joy to others lives resembles the kind of a man he was. He always wanted to embrace your presence and make you feel comfortable in any situation. He made people better, he was a teacher, a mentor and man with mutual respect. He was faced with adversity his whole life and was bound to make it big. He had a dream of becoming a division 1 football player and was on target. He will be praised, remembered, respected and loved by touching the hearts of everyone he knew. The front of the shirt displays his last post describing his values for God and displaying his faith. The back of the shirt displays his number he wore during his most recent football season showing the love and commitment he had for the team, program, and coaches.

To me this is a huge step to show the metcalfs that people care and that there’s hundreds or even thousands of people here for them. It’ll help us come together and show respect for Austin. LLA❤️
