About this campaign
Please support my trek with the Police Unity Tour Chapter X as we ride to Washington DC in honor of officers who have fallen in the line of duty. All funds raised will be applied to my MINIMUM participant's fee of $1850 required by each rider. Each shirt contains the names of ALL of Maine's fallen, their End of Watch date and department.
On May 9, 2014, for the 3rd year in a row, I will join over 1800 Officers from across the country who will ride bicycles along varying routes, each nearly 300 miles, to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial (NLEOM) in Washington DC in honor of Officers who have fallen in the line of duty.
Each participant is required to raise a MINIMUM of $1850 to participate in the Ride. I've been fortunate enough over the past two years to donate much more than my minimum. All funds are donated to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Museum. The Police Unity Tour is the largest contributor to the NLEOMF having donated over $10.2 million since the Tour's inception in 1997.
Please help me HONOR Maine's fallen officers by purchasing a shirt and assisting with my journey with the Police Unity Tour Chapter X. Our motto is, "We ride for those who died!"

I am supporting this because I have so much respect and admiration for those who have served and continue to serve.
I am a police Sergeant in an agency in which we have lost two officers that died in the line of duty. I am also an avid cyclist and think this is an incredibly great idea. It not only promotes the cause at hand but also promotes healthy choices
