About this campaign

Last year, 16-year-old Remy rode his bike 50 miles to raise money for Why Me & Sherry's House, a Worcester, Massachusetts, nonprofit providing support services to families battling childhood cancer. Remy's ride ended at Gillette Stadium, where he was honored on the field during The NE Revs "Soccer kicks cancer" night. This ride was in honor of his cousin, who passed just over a decade ago from childhood cancer.

"I wanted to do something big for her, as big as her life would have been. Sophia died of Leukemia when she was just four years old. Unfortunately, Sophia had to experience too many negative events at her age, but she never let them affect her. She was brave in her journey and fought every day, no matter what news came her way. She put on a tough face and looked at her challenges straight on."

This year, Remy's Ride is growing. The mileage will be longer, but Remy remains steadfast in doing big things to honor Sophia and her life. All money from the sales of shirts will benefit Why Me. They supported Sophia's family during her battle with Leukemia and continue to be, almost 11 years after her passing.
