About this campaign

Relay for Life of Santa Clara is a part of a nationwide, community based orginazation to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The goal of RFL is to eliminate the presence of cancer as a major health problem, by prevention, saving lives, and diminishing the suffering.

This year we will walk the field during a 24 hour event on April 30-May1st.

I personally became involved with Relay for Life when my grandfather passed away due to complications from pancreatic cancer. 

Every year I hear of more and more people who have been diagnosed or affected by this disgusting disease. Too many lives have been lost. Too many people have been hurt. It is only through ourselves that we can find an end to this.

We are the hope for the future. I have the hope that one day in my life time we will see a cure, and the will be an end to the pain.
