About this campaign

Help raise funds for the victims of Super Typhoon Haiyan. Our goal is to be able to sell at least 100 t-shirts. Proceeds of which will go to the Super Typhoon Relief Fund headed by globalgiving.org.

Please contact the organizer with any questions.
Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

About a week ago, one of the strongest storms recorded on the planet smashed into the Philippines. It was called Super Typhoon Haiyan.

The storm had sustained winds of 195 mph and gusts as strong as 235. It's said that it was one of the strongest tropical cyclones to hit land anywhere in the world in recorded history.

Over half a million people have been displaced, the majority of whom are stranded with no food, water or shelter. A lot of them have yet to locate their family members, unsure of whether they made it out alive.

For those who have survived, they literally have lost everything.

Despite all the suffering they are experiencing but they still push on. And even when time has eventually soothed the pain of losing a loved one, imagine how hard it is to start life from scratch again.

Relief efforts are underway but there are still too many victims to account for. They need food and water, the very basics of human survival.

The goal of this campaign is to help speed up the recovery of these people by donating the proceeds to the Super Typhoon Relief Funds headed by globalgiving.org.

All donations to this fund will support disaster recovery and relief efforts in response to Super Typhoon Haiyan. Initially, the fund will help first responders meet survivors' immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter. Once initial relief work is complete, this fund will transition to support longer-term Haiyan recovery efforts run by local, vetted Filipino organizations.

You can find out more by visiting them on the web at http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/super-typhoon-haiyan-relief-fund/.

Everyone is encouraged to help raise funds by purchasing a t-shirt hosted by www.booster.com. The goal is to reach 100 t-shirts sold and all proceeds will go to globalgiving.org.

If you are unable to, please share the word about this campaign to your friends and relatives. Let's help them rise up from this tragedy.
