About this campaign

With the purchase of a T-Shirt you are supporting the Rocky Mountain Rett Association and the Rett Clinic at the Children's Hospital.

On August 12th, 2017, RMRA will host the 13th annual Walk n’ Roll at Robert F. Clement Park, 7306 Bowles Avenue, Littleton, CO. The Walk n’ Roll is Rocky Mountain Rett Association’s (RMRA) signature event to bring the community together to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for Rett Syndrome. The 3K Walk n’ Roll around the scenic lake at Clement Park begins at 10:00am, with registration starting at 9:00am. There will be a free chuck wagon lunch, silent and live auctions, face painting, balloon magician and fairy princesses for the kids. The event is free, but a suggested donation of $5 per person and $15 per family is encouraged. Registration is requested so that the RMRA can plan for the free chuck wagon lunch. In 2011, RMRA opened the Rett Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado and continues to annually fundraise $50,000 to cover six clinics a year. The Rett Clinic, which became a Center of Excellence for Rett Syndrome in 2017, needs more funding to expand its services to include an additional six half day clinics a year serving an additional 30 girls. To fund this endeavor, RMRA’s goal is to raise an additional $25,000 per year. RMRA is organized for the primary purpose of funding research for the development of treatments and cures for Rett Syndrome and related MeCP2 disorders. RMRA also provides support and advocacy to area families. RMRA has historically been a volunteer driven organization, consisting of family members and service providers whose lives are touched by Rett Syndrome.
