About this campaign

In the spring 2019 CI-NSBE Jr will travel to Detroit, Michigan for NSBE's 45th Annual Convention where our students will compete in various engineering competitions, experience the largest career and college fair in the nation, and network with peers and industry professionals. Funds go to support travel/lodging cost for our students and chaperones.

Central IL NSBE Jr Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers was chartered in August 2012. The goal of the chapter is to expose minority youth in grades 5th-12th to STEM professions. We encourage students to attend college and pursue technical degrees. Our pre-college initiative program provides activities to help students discover firsthand how engineering and technology relate to the world around them and discover the excitement of academic excellence, leadership, technical development and teamwork.11079562_637930836339019_6107462546071803510_ojpg
