Childhood hunger is a problem that
threatens our children and our future. 16.2 million children live in households
that lack the means to get enough nutritious food on a regular basis. As a
result, they struggle with hunger at some time during the year. 3.9 million
children face food insecurity—the limited or uncertain availability of
nutritionally adequate and safe food.
We are in danger of losing an
entire generation of leaders, innovators and problem-solvers. End childhood

In 2014, Share Our Strength’s No
Kid Hungry® campaign contributed to more than 345 million meals for children in
America and with your support, No Kid Hungry® will work to ensure every child
in the US has access to healthy food where they live, where they learn and
where they play.
This September, Rosati’s Pizza is
joining thousands of restaurants nationwide to support Share Our Strength’s No
Kid Hungry® campaign by raising contributions in their restaurants Contri utions are used to raise awareness about child hunger in the US, create
public-private partnerships that align kids with the resources they need,
support nutrition programs and educate kids and their families on how to cook
healthy meals with limited resources.
“One of Uncle Al Rosati’s favorite
saying is “Feed The People” and I can’t think of any group of people more
important to feed than the hungry children of America. That’s why Rosati’s
Pizza is working with the Share Our Strength organization to raise money to
stamp out childhood hungry in America once and for all,” said president of
Rosati’s Pizza, Marla Topliff. She has been a longtime supporter of the cause.

Having two precious children of my own...& with kids being "innocent" in most (if not all) of their situations, I see NO reason as to why they should suffer with NO food to eat! I'm guessing they've unfortunately already suffered enough!!
