SASS Sexual Assault Safe Space Fundraiser

In February of 2024, while on a girls' trip to the Bahamas, I was sexually assaulted. This traumatic experience changed my life forever. As a result, I had to seek inpatient care, which unfortunately added to my trauma. Men and women were thrown together, and most of them didn't have issues anywhere near the same as mine. This experience highlighted the urgent need for specialized care facilities.



With this in mind, we hope to establish the first inpatient care facility for victims of sexual assault in Kentucky. We recognize that we have a long journey ahead, but this is just the beginning. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where survivors can receive the care and understanding they need.
