Hi everyone! SO I am the former Wrestling Manager for Toms River North, and lately I have been reading and noticing all the budget cuts going on in 2017, in the Lakewood school district, especially in the high school where it hits home for me. Former Coach of TRN Wrestling, Coach Of Lakewood High School Wrestling, and LHS Guidance Counselor Oscar Ruben, was affected by these cuts along with over 100 teachers, staff, and almost all after school activities and athletics. Leaving the kids of lakewood with almost nothing, less supplies, less teachers, etc.
 Here I am today, raising money for something that means a lot to me and especially the kids of LHS, I am raising money to GET LAKEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING BACK! We are not going down without a fight! Wrestling is a great sport that teaches athletes so many valuable lessons about sport and life in general. WHY would the BOE take that away from these boys and girls? Wrestling is a sport that helps bring people together. Even though the competition is fierce, wrestlers are able to look past where an individual is from. Wrestling helps to develop strong minds and strong bodies. It helps youth to learn to set and work to achieve goals.
 I find this very unfair, these wrestlers work hard day in and out to better themselves, make sure their grades are high to be able to wrestle, earn scholarships from this sport to go onto college, and learn so much from this amazing sport. Please help these wrestlers by purchasing this t-shirt, making a donation, or joining us at the BOE meeting to get these kids their sports back!!!!!!!
