About this campaign
The Gifted, Anointed, & Purposed (G.A.P.) Ministry of Springfield Baptist Church is raising funds
for outreach activities and events that will integrate the generations of the
church internally and externally while focusing on evangelism and discipleship.
We will wear the “Straight Outta Springfield” T-shirts when we participate in
ministry activities inside and outside of Springfield Baptist Church.
As the G.A.P. Ministry approaches theirst anniversary on July 15th, we decided to start a fundraising campaign to promote the G.A.P. Ministry’s PRIDE and LOVE for Springfield Baptist Church in Washington, DC as well as our South Campus in Clinton, MD.
Springfield Baptist Church is a Peopland a Place oforship, Wellness, Wholeness and Wisdom.Te G.A.P. Ministry's Missionis to disciple young adults to be active followers of Jesus Christ.Our Visionis to bridge the gap between the church and emerging generations seeking to find a relationship with Jesus Christ; and our Purposeis to Bridge the Gap, connecting the generations to Christ.
The G.A.P. Ministry's presence will be vital to helping youth and young adults integrate into the
larger intergenerational communities of the Springfield Baptist Church. Our presence will also help the church totay relevant in a changing culture as well as to current times. The G.A.P. Ministry focuses on inviting those who are not already part of the church into
the deeper narrative of God’s plan for everyone. The GAP Ministry helps the
church focus on the way of Jesus, which goes way beyond tradition and rituals.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between the church and emerging generations
seeking to find a relationship with Jesus Christ.
