1976–2026: 50 Years of Empowering Mathematics Education in the Palmetto State

For half a century, the South Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics has brought educators together to learn, share, and lead. Since 1976, SCCTM members have turned classrooms across the Palmetto State into places where students discover that math makes sense, and where they discover that they can do it. This year we celebrate 50 years of teachers inspiring teachers, and of the colleagues, mentors, and friends who make our community strong. Wear this shirt to show your SCCTM pride and honor everyone who has helped shape math education in South Carolina. Join us in celebrating the past and counting on a bright future. Here’s to 50 years, and to many more!
