Save the Seals

Since 1992, the Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles (MMCC) located in San Pedro, CA, has rescued over 8,000 animals stranded on southern California beaches from Seal Beach to Malibu. The center is in financial crisis as fundraising efforts have yet to reach a level necessary for sustainability. Although the 2020 operating budget has been slashed to a bare minimum, it is still imperative that the center raise one million dollars by June, 2020 to be able continue operating through next year. As a nonprofit hospital, public support is needed to support MMCC’s ocean conservation and marine mammal rehabilitation efforts. At this time, 80% of all funds raised goes directly to animal care.
