About this campaign

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Purchasing a t-shirt not only shows everyone that you stand with survivors, but it also helps the STAR Center continue to provide much needed services to victims of violence in our community.

The STAR Center at Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus provides comprehensive, trauma-informed medical forensic exams for patients who have experienced sexual assault, intimate partner violence, child abuse, human trafficking, and more. Our team of specially trained forensic nurse examiners are able to perform exams, collect evidence, obtain photographs, and connect our patients with other resources in the community. This is all done in a quiet, private, and secure area of the hospital.
