I am a heart disease survivor and a proud member of The Mended Hearts, Inc, and chapter 194 Goldsboro, NC. This organization has been a "lifesaver" for me in knowing there are others out there who care about me and support me in this heart journey.
I feel very strongly about supporting Mended Hearts as a heart patient myself.
My son has severe CHD.
I AM A HEART PATIENT AND A MEMBER OF MENDED HEARTS .
I became a survivor in July 2019 (double bypass), and again in July 2020 (stent), with the help of my excellent medical team and family and friends. I love that my scar is a reminder of love.
Mended Hearts is the greatest hope sharing peer group for heart patients!
