Show your love for sharks AND Team Muscle Makers!

I have loved running the Disney races for a few years now, but this year I really wanted to give back. I decided to run this year's Disneyland Rebel Challenge in California for Team Muscle Makers for UCMD. When I was a camp counselor in college, I met an amazing little boy named Max with muscular dystrophy who had a huge heart and a wicked sense of humor. I don't know what's happened to him since 2003, but I think of him often, so running for Team Muscle Makers feels extra special.

Our team mission is to raise awareness for Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (UCMD) is a rare form of muscular dystrophy with only a few hundred documented cases world wide. As a team, it is our goal to raise money for the research for new treatments and, one day, a cure for UCMD. To do this, we run! We’re making muscles, one mile at a time.
