About this campaign

These tees were designed for a company outing in the Summer of 2017. Unfortunately, a week before the outing, one of our co-worker's cancer returned dramatically. As she and her family face the biggest battle of their lives, we have chosen to sell the shirts to other North Side baseball fans to raise money to assist with medical bills, mortgage payments and lasting memories.

Gina Aweve (a Huntley local and forever Cubs fan) was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought that battle and we thought she’d won; we thought those troubles were left in 2016. A few short weeks ago our friend found herself in the hospital. The cancer has returned and she now has a larger fight ahead of her. She’s fighting this, but it’s taking its toll.

Many people around her want to help in any way they can to support Gina and her family. Gina's kids just entered 8th and 6th grade, and they are active in Huntley sports organizations. Which is why we’re fundraising to help cover the cost of medical bills, their recently purchased home and lasting memories.

Gina has been a valuable member of the team at J Miller Marketing for over 2 years. We consider ourselves a family and so this has hit close to home for all of us.

Party With A Purpose, the fundraising organization started on behalf of Gina, was begun as our way to show how much we love her and her family.
