About this campaign

Second Hand Paws can use your help. We have done very well with keeping the veterinary expenses paid up to this point due to some very generous donations but the time has come to raise money for future expenses. We could not do what we do for the animals in need without community support. We are also attempting to raise enough money to apply for our federal 501c3 status. Once we get approved for the 501c3 we will be able to apply for federal grants that could help us in achieving our goal of eventually having a real shelter. 

Second Hand Paws Small Animal Rescue is a Montana State non-profit organization that tries to help as many needy animals as our space and finances will allow. We have taken in 7 dogs, 14 cats, 16 kittens and one of the dogs we took in was pregnant and had 9 puppies. We have also sponsored a momma and 9 kittens. We received 7, one day old puppies and after all of our efforts we lost 6 of them. The one that survived is doing great. All this just since January 1st when we started our mission. All animals we rescue are taken to the vet for shots, any needed medial attention and spay or neuter. We have foster homes where the animals are loved and worked with to get them ready to be adopted into forever loving homes. We love our community and doing what we are able to do for the animals in the area in need. We could do more if we had more funds and foster homes, we are in need of both at this time. I want to thank everyone in advance that support our mission.
