About this campaign

Sickle cell disease affects about 70,000- 80,000 people nationwide. It is the most common blood disorder and a lifelong illness that can result in serious health problems. Sickle cell disease is a group of inherited red blood disorders affecting an important protein in the red blood cell.

Help Cook Children’s spread the word about sickle cell and support the Sickle Cell Program. Our goal is to help raise awareness and honor the incredible children who battle this disease. Funds raised from this campaign will be used to support research and programs for sickle cell patients.
