Child with sickle cell traits
We support Cook Children's because our Daughter has Sickle Cell---as do many of our other relatives. Cook Children's has literally saved her life on more than one occasion. The work they do for all the Children is outstanding and consistent.
My son Jordan has sickle cell anemia.
I’m donating in memory of my nephews Curtis Lee Dor and Enrique L. Dor, who both passed away from this disease. Curtis lived with strength and courage, and Enrique had a bright future. Their memories inspire this donation.
