About this campaign
People have been asking me about my purple “If it’s aqueous, I’ll thicken it.” shirt for a while now — so we finally decided to make them available!
If you know what aqueous means… this shirt is probably for you.
For the next two weeks we’re running this as a fundraiser, and all profits will be donated to the Dysphagia Outreach Project, an organization that works to improve the lives of people living with swallowing disorders through education, support, and advocacy. Learn more here: https://www.dysphagiaoutreach.org
Around here we talk a lot about thickening liquids, IDDSI levels, and the science behind dysphagia diets — but we also try to keep things a little fun. This shirt lets the dysphagia community share a little science humor, start a few conversations, and support a cause that means a lot to all of us.
If you’d like one, grab it before the fundraiser closes.

John from SimplyThick has developed a wonderful product, and maintains an educational, entertaining, and positive online presence. Also, I think the phrase on the shirt is hilarious and a great convo starter
Cool shirt cool cause.

I love what SimplyThick John does and how well he supports and represents the dysphagia community. He’s helped me learn better ways to care for my dysphagic patients as a healthcare provider.
Extreme respect for them for bringing awareness to dysphagia.
