Sing Your Heart Out

Child Life has been my dream job since high school, so when I was given the opportunity to work at Boston Children’s as a Child Life Assistant, I couldn’t have been more excited. Getting to actually be in the hospital and work alongside such spectacular Child Life Specialists has made me realize even more how much I want to do this as a career.

Since starting at Boston Children’s, I’ve gotten to experience so many different parts of Child Life, from playing games and doing activities with patients to being there during some of their hardest moments. It has shown me how important it is for kids to have opportunities to play, have fun, and just be kids, even while they’re in the hospital.

I wanted to put together this fundraiser because Child Life has become such an important part of my life, and I wanted to find a way to give back to the program that I hope to be a part of for many years to come. Every donation will help support the resources and experiences that Child Life provides to patients and families at Boston Children’s.

I’m really grateful to be able to do work that I’ve wanted to do for so long, and I’m excited to give back to something that means so much to me.
