In Texas, over breeding practices by puppy mills are a major problem. Breed standards and the health of the individual dogs are being abandoned in favor of turning out more dogs. With YOUR help, Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas can make a difference, we can change lives, we can help fill hearts and homes.... we can work together to help these innocent dogs turn their sad stories into new beginnings!
Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all-volunteer group in the heart of Texas that is dedicated to the health, welfare, and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. As such, we must rely heavily on donations and contributions, which are a necessity in order to continue to be able to pay the costs of veterinary care and other necessary expenses for each of our dachshunds. We strive to find the right home for each dog's individual personality and needs so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the families who adopt them are equally happy.
