About this campaign

My name is Jeremy Van Tress, founder of Smile Inside. In 2017, after I was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, I recognized a need for telehealth counseling that all pALS could access regardless of their abilities and levels of functioning. "Smile Inside" represents the potential for pALS to continue smiling [inside] despite the physical limitations they may encounter.
