Solar Our School: Elkhart Lake - Glenbeulah High School

About this campaign

In the spring of 2017 a bright student came up with an even brighter idea: solar panels on our school! After almost a year of meetings and discussion, the school board has agreed upon a proposal and we will be putting 24 solar panels on our school in early 2018. The panels will produce electricity and reduce our carbon footprint while demonstrating to the community the practicality of this as something they might want to do on their own home. Students will use real-time data from the panels in their science classes to gain an appreciation of solar technology. Now we are in the final stages - fundraising. Our goal is to "rays" $1200 to help offset the cost of this project and preserve needed school funds for other valuable programs. The "sun sets" on this project in 2 weeks, so don't take too long to "reflect" and help us now!
