About this campaign

Sundance for Our Soldiers (SOS) is a nonprofit organization providing equine-assisted, trauma-informed wellness services for veterans, active-duty service members, military families, first responders, and other at-risk individuals throughout Western Illinois and Eastern Iowa. Through ground-based interactions with horses, participants develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, communication, confidence, and healthy coping skills in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Horses naturally respond to human emotions and body language, creating powerful opportunities for personal insight and healing. Whether someone is navigating trauma, stress, anxiety, grief, or life transitions, SOS helps individuals build hope, strengthen relationships, and rediscover purpose—turning pain into purpose, one step at a time.
