About this campaign
100% of proceeds from the sale of this original artwork shirt (post Custom Ink production & shipping) will be donated to the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund in order to ensure that they have the resources to continue to educate & provoke tangible change within our national system. Allyship matters & the time is now.
The shirt is a Hanes EcoSmart shirt made of fabric sourced from recycled water bottles. It has my original artwork on the front as well as a small version of the BLM fist on the back of the neck. Youth sizes are also available!
IMPORTANT: The company will only print these orders if 48 or more are sold, so I would be really appreciative if you could share this through all of your outlets with anyone else who may be interested! Shirts ship 12 business days after the close of the fundraiser.
I quickly painted this canvas to carry with me to a protest as South Asian support for our Black brothers & sisters. The image is imperfect, but impassioned. It features a henna’d fist, bangles, & the names of many (not all) of the Black souls lost. I’m aiming to do my part in helping further educate & have organizations be able to provide valuable resources for this movement & beyond.
I am not affiliated with the South Asians 4 Black Lives Instagram account, but clearly share in their mission.
