As a kid I was left on the sidelines as my friends and peers were able to go to horse shows and get several lessons more than I every month. My confidence was low as I was left behind in training for show jumping due to lack of disposable income in my family growing up. I still attended the horse shows as I was lost without horses, heart broken and close to tears every show because I ached to be riding in the show and be on the horses back, that feeling of a powerful team was indescribable. Growing up in a house of violence and multiple types of abuse, horses were my safe place! I now own a farm and started a non profit 501 (c) 3 to raise money for kids to be able to get those extra lessons a week or attend the horse show with their peers and friends and never have to feel like I did! At least, not if i could help it! So please buy a T-Shirt or two...... all proceeds go to the non profit to help the kids and their dreams come true!
