About this campaign

Since December 2023, Joe Sgrizzi has faced Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with a bravery and resilience far beyond his years. Through countless appointments, treatments, and long days that tested both his body and spirit, Joe has shown extraordinary strength, courage, and determination—never giving up, even when the road was hard. This April, Joe will ring the bell to mark the completion of his cancer treatment, a powerful moment that represents hope, perseverance, and victory over an incredibly difficult chapter. This fundraiser celebrates Joe’s journey and this milestone, while honoring all families walking a similar path. Every dollar raised will go directly to Blood Cancer United, helping support research, advocacy, and hope for children and families facing blood cancer now and in the future.

Blood Cancer United does vital work bringing patients, families, clinicians, and advocates together to accelerate progress against blood cancers. By amplifying patient voices, supporting research and policy efforts, and building strong coalitions across the community, the organization helps ensure that care is more equitable, innovative, and responsive to real-world needs. Its commitment to collaboration and advocacy drives meaningful change—from advancing treatments to improving access and outcomes—so that people affected by blood cancers are never alone in the fight.
