Super Hip-Hop Tees

When I first brainstormed ideas for a new pop art show and possible a new line of shirts, the basic thought was: "What if I drew superheroes in casual clothes". From there though, I honed the concept specifically to be "superheroes crossed with hip-hop". However, what was to be just a fun experiment turned into a personal journey of reflection, after seeing more and more senseless slayings of Nubian males, with the continually decline of real hip-hop music. I felt the need to something more powerful and express some of the pain I was having, the best way I know how- through my art. I feel we (indy artists and creators) can manifest images and works that don't fall back on the coward's disguise of "satire". Now, I want to manifest images and works of Nubians that don't perpetuate negative racial stereotypes. On top of that, I wish to elevate comic book art to pop culture fashion and bring all of my loves together into one harmonic blend. Purchase a shirt today to show your support.
