Support for Lexi Baucom and Family
About this campaign
The little girl in picture is Lexi Baucom. She's my niece, she's 3 1/2 years old, and on June 17, 2019 she was diagnosed with cancer. Stage 4 neuroblastoma to be exact. Further testing and scans revealed that the cancer has metastasized to other parts of her body including her bone marrow. Over the next 18 months, she'll be on the receiving end of aggressive chemotherapy every three weeks, invasive tumor removal surgeries, bone marrow harvesting and transplants, blood transfusions, and weekly visits to Valley Children's Hospital Oncology Clinic.
Through everything, Lexi has managed to be a great patient and as resilient as it gets. Needless to say, this nasty disease has had a profound and damaging effect on those closest to Lexi including her mom Brianna and her grandma Mary. This fundraiser is for them. They need help, and any financial assistance that can be given, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for the prayers, thoughts, and encouraging words that you have sent their way and through me, and thank you to those who have donated through the GoFundMe (link, hopefully, posted below). Every little bit helps. It's great to know there are still people in this world that won't let a little girl and her family go it alone. Thank you.
