Support Olive the Opossum!

Olive came to TWRC as a baby after surviving being attacked by a raptor. The bird grabbed Olive by her ear, resulting in her losing it. Without the outer portion of her ear, she cannot close her ear canal like other opossums do. Bugs, parasites and debris could get inside her ear if she lived in the wild, so instead she became a TWRC Education Ambassador. Olive regularly goes out to events to help teach people about these often-misunderstood animals and the role they play in controlling the populations of ticks, roaches, mice, rats, and venomous snakes.
