J.B.Humble Pies is a trademark name under J.B.Humble LLC, located in Washington, DC. Jeffrey and I started this business late October 2019. We both are born and raised in the district. Jeff graduated from Johnson & Wales University of Charlotte and I graduated from Central Texas College.

One day we were having a conversation, when we first started dating about becoming entrepreneurs and what we would like to do. Jeff told me a story about how he use to make chicken pot pies and sold the pies to his family and neighborhood friends and how successful it was, but he didn’t keep up with it, because he wasn’t focused at the time. One night we had leftovers curry chicken, so I mentioned to make a pie, we tried it and it was good. We made curry chicken pies and chicken pot pies for our family and told them we’re going to start a pie business. The feedback about the pies was more than enough motivation. That’s when we started off with 3 savory pies (pot pie, curry pie, jerk pie) and 2 sweet pies (apple and peach).


We now are preparing for the future! We’re getting ready to become first-time home buyers and prepare to attend The MetroCooking DC. This fundraiser will help us finically prepare for the event. Any & all support is greatly appreciated!
