Support Robert & Esther Pagán during Esther’s cancer recovery and their time of financial need.

Our dear friends, Robert Pagán and Esther Carlo Pagán, are going through an incredibly difficult period and could use the support of their friends, family, and community. Esther is beginning the journey of cancer remission and recovery, while Robert is unable to work and currently relies on Social Security Disability (SSD). At the same time, changes and reductions affecting their Medicaid assistance have created an additional financial burden. Because their household income is considered above certain eligibility limits, they are facing the difficult reality of being viewed as having sufficient resources, even though their actual day-to-day expenses and medical needs tell a very different story. The combination of medical expenses, reduced assistance, everyday living costs, and limited income has placed tremendous financial pressure on them at a time when their focus should be on Esther’s recovery and their well-being. We created this T-shirt fundraiser as a simple way for our community to come together and help. Every shirt purchased contributes to easing some of their financial burden while also sending Robert and Esther an important message: they are surrounded by people who care and are standing with them.
