About this campaign

The mission of the Knightsen and Old River Parent clubs support the learning environment. They are a very big part of making sure our schools have everything it needs to succeed. They help pay for field trips, uniforms, eight grade giftand school improvements. They run important school events such as the Halloween Carnival, movie nights, book fairs, Red ribbon week, Christmas boutique and many more. They also treat the staff to a Back-To-School breakfast andStaff appreciation week.

The Knightsen School District is coming up on its 150 years of service. We have designed a shirt to represent the four schools that have existed in our district. Our story began with Eden Plain School on land donated by John Pearce, located on Eden Plain Rd. It served students for 38 years before being replaced by a two-room schoolhouse named Knightsen Grammar School. Today, the tradition continues with Knightsen Elementary and Old River Elementary.
