About this campaign
All proceeds raised will go toward professional service dog training for my son, who has MBD5 Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder (MAND).
A trained service dog can provide critical support for safety, emotional regulation, routine, and independence. Funds will be used specifically for training costs, evaluations, and related expenses required for a dog to become a qualified service dog.
MAND is rare. So rare that many people, including doctors and educators, have never heard of it. But for our family, it is part of our everyday life.
My son faces challenges most people never see. Simple things. Feeling safe, staying regulated, and navigating the world can take immense effort. We celebrate milestones others may take for granted, and we fight quietly for the supports he deserves.
A trained service dog has the potential to change his world. Not just as a companion, but as a source of grounding, safety, routine, and comfort when his world feels overwhelming. Service dog training is intensive and costly, but it can provide a level of independence and security that words can’t fully describe.
That’s why I created MAND awareness shirts. Each one tells our story. Each one spreads awareness for a rare disorder. And each one brings us one step closer to giving my son the support he needs to thrive.
