Sweet Olivia's Playroom Project

Our sweet Olivia passed away May 27, 2014 after being diagnosed with E. Coli and HUS. She suffered multi organ failure and was taken off full life support 11 days after becoming ill. She was a fiery 3 year old who would play from sun up to sun down. In an effort to keep her memory alive, we have spoken with the administration at Texoma Medical Center and will be "adopting" their playroom on the Pediatric wing of their hospital. It is our goal to not only revamp their existing playroom, but to also add "mobile playrooms" for children who are considered contagious and cannot enjoy the actual playroom. These "mobile playrooms" would consist of rolling carts loaded down with age appropriate toys for the children to keep in their rooms as long as they are admitted. We would also like to purchase several different gaming systems and tablets for the older children. This project will benefit so many children and their families. It is tough enough being sick and in the hospital...at least we can give them a little something to smile about!
