As most of you know, Ricky, Tammy, Nick, Nathaniel and Alexis have been through more than any one family should have ever have to go through within the past several years or in a lifetime. Tammy has been bravely battling cancer for the last 7 years.As if the ups and downs of Tammy’s illness weren’t bad enough, they have had to deal with losing their home as the result of a fire caused by lightning strike a few days before Christmas in2013, a year of disputes with theinsurance company and now litigation in order to get the insurance company to do do the right thing -- all while the family has been out of their home, living in rental with most of their possessions in storage. Tammy was recently released from the hospital after spending27 days there. Through it all, Tammy has remained hopeful and has fought her battle with strength, determination, grace and humor.It is her courage, strength, humor and overall positive outlook that is "Tammyland." Tammyland has and will continue to inspire all of usand get her family through this difficult time. After all, anything is possible in Tammyland!I sincerely believe that we are all better people simply for having her (and all of them) in our lives. They are truly anamazing family.
