About this campaign

"Carpe Diem" was Tom Bajo's mantra in both his personal and professional life. Purchase a mask imprinted with Carpe Diem written in Tom's handwriting to support the Tom Bajo ICU Family Assistance Fund. All proceeds benefit the endowment currently established in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The Tom Bajo Endowment was established in 2017 in memory of the late Dr. Tom Bajo.

Tom Bajo was a brilliant critical care physician who served as the leader of the medical ICU team at Good Samaritan Banner University Medical Center from 1983-2014. Tom cared deeply for his patients. He often gave from his own pocket to provide food, shelter, and transportation for patients' families who were in need. The Tom Bajo Endowment was created to continue this legacy to ease families' financial burdens as they emotionally support their critically ill family members.
