About this campaign
I will have this fundraiser open for 2 weeks then close it so those that make a purchase can get their shirts (they ship 10-15d after the fundraiser closes). We can open it up again in a few months if the need is there.
This fundraiser is to help spread awareness about sarcoma, help support the Langley family, especially Hunter, along with supporting a charity that the Langley's feel passionate about or that helped make Hunter's hospital stay a bit more pleasant such as Jarrett's Joy Cart.
A lot of people have come together by praying, asking to help, showered Hunter with love and have shown their willing support. The family is FOREVER grateful. A special thanks to Stacy Hettich for the design of the shirt.
As I am sure many of you know by now, Hunter Langley (10yo student at Saint Mary Academy and LouCity Academy player) was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma in February 2024. While 1 week was spent obtaining numerous tests, the 2nd week was spent at Duke Hospital with more testing and surgical intervention by Dr Eward. There was no time to waste. Pathology came back with CLEAR margins! So, for now, no chemotherapy or radiation will be needed. He will have to undergo scans (imaging) every couple months (2-3) for the next couple years. The Langley's have been overwhelmed by the support, connections, and love they have felt. What better way to show our continued support than by wearing a T-shirt or hoodie (or hat) on his scan days (and any day!). Also, be sure to save the date for August 10, 2024- Race for A Cure for Sarcoma. The Langley's want a big team and you can wear your shirts!!!
