Team LEE is a non-profit, charity 501c(3). Our U.S. team members are 100% volunteer, therefore every dollar received directly supports individuals and families living in severe poverty in Uganda. We are accountable for every dollar received and we are committed to never benefit from the suffering of others. We thank God for opening our eyes and our hearts to the people of Uganda and we pray He will continue to lead the way as we strive to follow His will. We strive to teach others about the Love of God through our actions and behaviors.

Team LEE is a group of individuals who are committed to serving others. We realize how blessed we are to live in America and are motivated to share our time, hearts, and finances in order to improve the lives of others. Our current focus is providing support to the slums and villages of Uganda, where the level of poverty is almost incomprehensible. Ugandan slums are severely overpopulated, water sources are contaminated with feces and urine, litter fills the streets, and disease and famine plague the land. Many children do not know their biological parents or their birth date. In an area that is approximately the size of the state of Oregon, the region of Uganda is populated with more than 39 million people. Starvation and disease take the lives of many before they reach the age of 50. Homes are single room shacks, often made of tin metal sheets. Bathroom facilities are nothing more than holes in the ground, dispersed throughout the slums. Dirt is everywhere; plant life is scarce due to the overpopulation. Men are absent from the home environment at alarming rates. A walk through the slums reveals thousands of women and children, but very few men. Here, it is a daily battle for survival. Those lucky enough to obtain a job washing clothes or sweeping streets earn $1 - $1.25 per day. An absence of love permeates the air; smiles are rare, and so is the gift of compassionate, human touch.
