Maddie Walder is an 18 year old girl who has been riding since she was 3 years old. Maddie is the poster child for every underdog story ever wrote. She was born with a talent most equestrians work a lifetime to never achieve . She demonstrates a beauty and grace on top of her horse that can really only be seen in movies.... While Maddie has the skill, discipline and talent to compete against those who are classified as the best in the country or even the world. The astronomical fees associated with competing block her . Her Dad a PhD in performance analytics and behavior has been Maddie's primary trainer , coach , investor and all around supporter for most of her life and by the time Maddie was 13 her dad knew that if she was ever to get to the next level he would need to sacrifice everything he had so he left his fulltime career, sold his home bought her carmen and invested in opening a training facility that would give Maddie the tools she needed to advance. Carmen a 17h Dutch warm blood who was a struggle to ride without her throwing her head and only jumping 3 foot jumps is now a graceful grand prix level jumper only through the hard work of Maddie and training of her Dad. MADDIE is the underdog she is not rich she is not entitled she is just a girl who loves to ride and happens to be phenominal at it.
