Your purchase of a shirt or hoodie today helps Team SOB reach our fundraising goal for VisionCorps Eye Drop 2019. Your purchase will help to send John "Shrek" McPhee and his sidekicks, Pepperjack and OB1, repelling 10 stories down the Holiday Inn Lancaster on November 22nd!
So, who are we supporting?
VisionCorps serves individuals who are blind or vision impaired through preventative, rehabilitative and employment opportunities. All services are provided at no cost to clients. VisionCorps is not a government agency and relies on support from the community to make these services possible.
- Nearly 10,000 preschool aged children are screened annually for vision impairments.
- More than 15,000 hours of rehabilitative services are provided annually to children and adults living with vision loss.
- Nearly 100 individuals who are blind are employed by VisionCorps – fighting the 70% unemployment rate for the blind in the United States.
VisionCorps also facilitates access to free vision exams and basic frames and lenses for low-income families.
