About this campaign
It's that time of the year again, the time for Great Strides fundraising to support Cystic Fibrosis. The walk is on May 18,2014. This year I am trying a new thing, fundraising with T-shirts, hoping it may be successful, Thank you <3
Emily and I fight this disease everyday, and although I don't share a lot to others, it is truly a daily battle that I try not to complain about. I am however asking your help to show us support. So many new drugs and treatments are in the works BUT there is currently NO government funding for the very expensive research that goes into developing these new therapies. That's why the fundraising is so important. The median age of survival is still only 36! This is not enough time! Especially when you're 30 and you have an 8 year old daughter who has this disease also! We need more tomorrows. Getting these new drugs and therapies can be life changing for both of us.
