Amanda is a sweet and spunky four year old with 3 older siblings. Amanda received her diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on Friday, February 6, 2015 after a week of increased bruising and fevers. By the next Monday, she had a central lineplaced and had her first chemo treatment. Prior to that she had no medical issues, so it has really turned our world upside down. She has been so brave in this new world of medicine and procedures. Her first bone marrow test after the initial month of chemo showed a small amount of residual disease. For that reason, she is now on the high risk protocol and is in the next phase of more intensive chemo treatments.
This campaign is meant to help Amanda's family with expenses occurring during this prolonged treatment as we all work togetherwork to beat her Leukemia!!
