Parents of Special People, Inc. is a parent run 501(c)3 charity that benefits the special needs children in Matawan, Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Some of the programs we support include:

 The Matawan Aberdeen Husky Special Olympic Team

 Matawan Regional High School Challenger Leagues

 Personal Best Week, a yearly celebration of our students’ achievements

 The Peer Buddy Mentoring Program, where children learn together

 Free workshops for parents and educators

 Inclusive recreational events, programs and opportunities
