Twitchy Woman started as a blog in 2014. 6 years later, the Pandemic hit and Sunday Mornings with Twitchy Woman was launched on Zoom in March 2020, on the same date that the blog made its debut - March 22. For 3 years we have met about twice a month, with different speakers and activities. But that wasn't enough, the women wanted more. We developed a successful Peer to Peer mentoring program, several chat groups and now a book group. We advocate for People with Parkinson's and help them learn to advocate for themselves. We have affiliated with the Meyrow Foundation, a 501(C)(3) organization, so that we can continue to offer all of these programs at no cost to the participants.
